When a group is trying to do meaningful good for others from a position of expertise, interconnection, and ethical practice, I support their work and their people by:

• Conducting needs assessment, designing learning and impact evaluation, and integrating instructional design + paradigmatic change strategy across workflows, messaging, and strategic planning

• Designing and delivering training and enablement solutions, curriculum, and programming constructed to meet the potentially divergent demands of an organization's desired long-term social/climate impact and its day-to-day operations

• Upskilling and supporting organizational leadership and others in the use of instructional design thinking, futures-oriented psychology for strategic planning and professional development, and the psychology of purpose in writing for professional and organizational development 

• Architecting and troubleshooting the (re)development, rollout, and evaluation of public and professional messaging campaigns through learning and persuasive science

I set time aside on time most weeks for free 30-minute problem-solving sessions with nonprofits, community groups, and volunteer-led initiatives on a first-come, first-served basis.

Most recently, I've had the good fortune to work with visionary climate justice-oriented architecture, engineering, and construction industry professionals on instructional design and learning strategy in communications and training, with groups of educators on Generative AI for professional and educational development, and on a set of developing research projects around adult emotional-readiness-to-learn and what I've been calling "public enablement" (the process of infusing skills development and performance-based training design directly into public messaging campaigns and paradigmatic change projects).
